The clamp holder (1) has an inserted holding recess with seat walls for accommodating a cutting body (3), whereby the cutting body is fixed with a fixing arrangement. It has a replaceable plate seat adapter (6) adapted to the cutting body fixed in the holding recess and in direct or indirect contact with the lateral surfaces in the recess with plate seat walls (2) in contact with the cutting body. An independent claim is also included for a plate seat adapter for a clamp holder.
