H.264 DECODER, PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the processings of direct motion vectors generated at 4×4 pixel units cannot exhibit the capability of a CPU loaded on a PC sufficiently, motion compensation processing is conducted by a larger pixel size for sufficiently displaying the capability of the CPU and the same operation result must be obtained in the motion compensation processing of H.264 (an MPEG-4 AVC).

SOLUTION: An H.264 decoder, a program and a medium have a macro-block analyzer having a means detecting the identity of adjacent vectors by using the macro-block type of a Co-located macro block referring in a computing process in the computing process of the direct motion vectors and a motion compensating operation element optimizing its speed by an SSE2 and an MMX at every size of 7 kinds, and can conduct a direct predicting processing at high speed.
