PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of executing a game performance not being limited in movement and size of the first character and the second character without increasing processing load so much compared with conventional game machines. SOLUTION: When there is a chance that a missile hits an UFO (Y in step S179), positions of the missile and the UFO displayed in a performance display unit are obtained (step S180) and whether or not the missile hits the UFO is calculated based on the obtained mutual positional relationship and velocities of the two (step S181). When it is determined that the missile hits the UFO (YES in step S182), a display sub-board determines whether or not to make the missile hit the UFO (step S183). if the last stop pattern is big winning, it is determined to make the missile hit the UFO, and if losing, it is determined not to make the missile hit the UFO.
