PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-working die steel which is excellent in a toughness, and to extend the service life of a die by using the hot-working die steel as a raw material. SOLUTION: The steel for hot-working die is subjected to a normalizing treatment, a tempering treatment and an annealing treatment successively.
