PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of preventing ink in a nozzle part from being cured when a thick rigid medium is printed on a platen and making printing with no margin of the rigid medium possible in the inkjet recording apparatus for printing with an active light curing type ink. SOLUTION: A plate 8 is freely movably provided outside of a region of the rigid medium 1 to be conveyed, and it is possible to arrange this plate 8 close to the end face of the rigid medium 1.
