<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light condensing device capable of stably condensing sunlight irrespective of direction and altitude by solving such a problem that the direction of a light ray is changed according to season and time upon the light condensing in the practical method of combination of lens, prism, reflection mirror, etc. as a method of condensing the light rays in a wide angle and wide range. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical light condensing cylinder is configured with a light condensing plate formed by piling quadrangular straightening units in order to collect sunlight rays from all altitudes and all directions and supply the collected sunlight rays, and incident light rays of which the advancing directions are modified by refraction and total reflection on straightening surfaces of the straightening units are condensed to a light receptor located on the center axis of the light condensing cylinder vertically arranged, whereby light rays from all altitudes and all directions can be condensed to the light receptor irrespective of solar altitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
