METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CUTTING RADIOLOGICAL IMAGE CONVERSION PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an end part of a radiological image conversion plate from being chipped after cutting, and also to prevent quality of the radiological image conversion plate from being deteriorated.

SOLUTION: This method for cutting the radiological image conversion plate formed of a high polymer material and also formed by forming a phosphor layer on a metallic thin coated layer by a gaseous phase deposition method in a supporting body having the metallic thin coated layer on its surface, comprises: a cutting process of cutting the plate into a product part and a non-product part; and a separation process of separating the product part from the non-product part to prevent them from coming into contact mutually.
