PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has high sensitivity to light of wavelengths from 380 to 500 nm and is excellent in charging property at a low temperature. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has: a charge generating layer containing a disazo compound expressed by a formula (1) on a support; and a charge transporting layer having a film thickness of 10 to 25μm on the charge generating layer, and is exposed to light at wavelengths of 380 to 500 nm.
