摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber device which is stable in a characteristic with respect to temperature fluctuation. SOLUTION: An interferometer 300 includes an optical coupling machine 303, having two input leads 302,308 and two output leads 310,315. An additional optical fiber 314 from the output lead 310, an optical path length into a Faraday mirror 306 via a pig tail lead 313, the optical path length from the output lead 315 to the faraday mirror 307 via the pig tail 316, and a coefficient of a thermal expansion of each optical fiber component forming the optical paths are set so as to stabilize the characteristics of the interferometer 300 with respect to the temperature fluctuation.
