<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial culture soil as a lightweight substitute for soil of a heavy weight through solving the problem of the disposal of solid fraction of Japanese distilled spirit lees as industrial waste. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial culture soil for raising plants is made from a paper-like body which is formed by mixing a natural fiber material (a vegetable fiber material mainly having cellulose such as paper, cloth, and cotton as the main ingredient) having Japanese distilled spirit lees discharged during a production process of Japanese distilled spirit to be produced using plants as the raw material, as the main raw material, excluding synthetic resin and chemical fiber having a fossil material such as petroleum as the main ingredient, with the Japanese distilled spirit lees, and by pressure forming the product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
