The vehicle network system has multiple star network, multiple devices, which are attached at a vehicle (1), and are connected in star form by respective branch lines in every star network. A connecting line is provided for connecting the star network with one another. The branch lines are communication lines provided for optical communications. The connecting line is a communication line provided for electrical communication. The branch lines having optical fibers (40) and the connecting line has a metal cable (30).
