PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press forming apparatus whose manufacturing cost is reduced and which has excellent versatility. SOLUTION: This press forming apparatus for obtaining formed products has a curved part which is curved in the longitudinal direction, an extension part which is extended in the longitudinal direction from the curved part, and flanges which are extended from side parts of the curved part and the extended part, from a planar blank plate 100. The apparatus has a curved part forming die 130 having a pressing part for pressing the edge parts 102, 104 of the blank plate 100 which comprise the flange of the curved part, an extended part forming die 140 having a pressing part for pressing the edge parts 106, 108 of the blank plate 100 which comprise the flange of the extended part, and driving means for moving the pressing parts of the extended part forming dies 140 in the direction where residual stress generated on the flange faces in the curved part is canceled.
