PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display (LCD) device which is hardly damaged and bent by heat. SOLUTION: An outer lead bonding (OLB) pad electrode section 11 of one edge of a glass substrate 3 of an array substrate 4 projects from a rear face 9 of a facing section 5 other than the OLB pad electrode section 11. A surface 6 of the facing section 5 of the glass substrate 3 other than the OLB pad electrode section 11 and a surface 23 of a glass substrate 22 of a facing substrate 21 are made to face each other and stuck together. The OLB pad electrode section 11 to which the facing substrate 21 is not attached is thicker than the facing section 5. Thereby, the OLB pad electrode section 11 is hardly broken and cracked, and is hardly bent by heat. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
