An objective lens actuator (21) includes a lens holder (24) which holds an objective lens (17). A collision preventing portion (31) which prevents collision of the objective lens (17) and an optical disc (50) and a cleaning portion (32) which performs cleaning of the optical disc (50) when the objective lens (17) and the optical disc (50) collide with each other, are set up on the lens holder (24). It is preferable that the collision preventing portion (31) and the cleaning portion (32) are disposed such that the collision preventing portion (31) is located in an up stream side of a rotating direction of the optical disc (50) and the cleaning portion (32) is located in a down stream side of the rotating direction of the optical disc (50).
