A treatment for inhibiting the microbial adhesion on surfaces in contact with an aqueous system is disclosed, which comprises adding to the system an alkylsulfosuccinate surfactant. In a preferred embodiment, the combination of an alkylsulfosuccinate surfactant and block copolymer is added to the system in order to achieve efficacy. |
