<p>A deep drawn sheet (2) has projection (20) that are filled with insulating material (4). An insulated backing layer (3), which consists of prefabricated insulating sheets (30, 31), is attached to the other side. The first sheet (30) has grooves (33) and perforations (34) through which liquid is injected and foamed in position to form the insulation (4) and to make the join to the other sheet (31). An Independent claim is also included for the process of making a sheet with projections in this way. In alternative processes the material to form the foam (4) is introduced directly into the projections (20), after which the insulating sheet (31) is attached by means of the foam or with adhesive.</p> |
