An endoscope capsule and a method for controlling the same are provided to obtain images inside a body cavity by moving the endoscope capsule inside the body cavity according to control of an operator. An endoscope capsule(10) includes an image processing unit(100), a power supply unit(300), a housing unit(400), and a propelling unit(500). The image processing unit photographs images inside a body cavity and performs signal processing of the images. The power supply unit supplies power to the image processing unit. The housing unit surrounds the image processing unit and the power supply unit. The propelling unit is formed at one end of the housing unit and has a propeller rotated according to a change of an external magnetic field to supply propulsive force to the endoscope capsule. |
