METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING PUSH TO TALK SERVICE IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method and a system for providing push to talk service in a communication system are provided to allow a specific terminal which speaks in the current session to obtain information on a terminal which is not able to listen to the speaking of the specific terminal. A specific terminal transmits a message for requesting information on terminals participating in the current session to a server which provides push to talk service to the specific terminal(313). The specific terminal receives information on a terminal which is not able to receive an RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol) message among the terminals participating in the current session from the server.
