The device (D) has a processing unit (MT) arranged to determine a stable object in a memorization unit (MM), and order an application of a set of values to a parameter to be adapted in an identified object. The processing unit is used to analyze an influence of adaptation of the parameter on the operation of the identified object to not replace an old definition of characteristics of the identified object by the definition of characteristic adapted in the memorization unit in case of improving operation induced by the adaptation of the parameter.
