A ferritic stainless steel sheet having little orange peel is provided to make it not necessary to prescribe the deformation amount strictly in the ferritic stainless steel sheet, and a method for producing the ferritic stainless steel sheet is provided. A ferritic stainless steel sheet having little orange peel and excellent formability comprises, by mass%, 0.001 to 0.015% of C, 0.01 to 0.60% of Si, 0.01 to 0.30% of Mn, 0.005 to 0.035% of P, 0.0001 to 0.0100% of S, 15 to 22% of Cr, 0.001 to 0.020% of N, 0.05 to 0.35% of Ti, 0.005 to 0.1% of Al, and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein when X-ray integrated intensity ratios of faces {222}, {112}, and {002}, that are perpendicular to a sheet face, are Ia, Ib, and Ic respectively, and when Ia', Ib', and Ic' are respectively X-ray integrated intensity ratios of the faces {222}, {112}, and {002} that are perpendicular to the sheet face after imparting 20% of an elongation deformation in three directions of 0, 45, and 90 degrees with the rolling direction being 0 degree, the following relations are all satisfied: Ia/(Ib+Ic)>10, Ia>20, and 0 degree direction Ia'/(Ib'+Ic')>3, Ia'>10, 45 degree direction Ia'/(Ib'+Ic')>5, Ia'>10, and 90 degree direction Ia'/(Ib'+Ic')>5, Ia'>10. |
