PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device which can be installed to a minimum space and is capable of preventing collision of an opening and closing body. SOLUTION: When a shutter 14 is moved upward, a contact portion 66 of the shutter 14 is made to contact at its predetermined position to the contact face 52A of a contact portion 52, and a slider 70 is moved along a rack 22 via the contact portion 52. Then, a gear member 76 engaged with a rack 22 is rotated and a damping force acts on the slider 70 by means of viscous resistance by the silicon oil of a damper 32 through an oscillating gear 80 and a damping gear 82, and then the shutter 14 can be moved quietly. In this way, a damper device 10 capable of preventing the collision of the shutter 14 can be installed to the minimum space. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
