A steering apparatus is provided to allow a user to be recognized the locking state of an operating lever by forming a protrusion between a plane part and a stopper formed a crest of a fixed cam such that the protrusion is coupled to a groove formed on a projection blade of an operating cam. A steering apparatus comprises a distance bracket, a tilt bolt of passing through a tilt bracket, a fixed cam coupled to a side of the tilt bolt, an operating cam coupled to the fixed cam, and an operating lever integrally coupled to the operating cam. A groove(360) is formed on a projection blade(350) of the operating cam outward from the center of a projection of the operating cam. A protrusion is formed between a plane part and a stopper(240) formed on a crest of the fixed cam to be coupled to the groove. The groove has a width getting larger from the center of the projection to the outside. The protrusion has a width getting larger from the center of the fixed cam to the outside.
