PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a (3-sulfur atom-substituted phenyl)heteroaryl derivative or its salt that exhibits an excellent control effect on a wide range of insect pests. SOLUTION: The (3-sulfur atom-substituted phenyl)heteroaryl derivative is represented by general formula (I) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or a cycloalkyl group; A is a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a (hydroxyimino)methyl group, an (alkoxyimino)methyl group, a heteroaryl group or a cyano group; X is a halogen atom; m is 0-3; n is 0 or 1; and Q is a heteroaryl group) or its salt.
