The system has band-pass filter banks (100) each with filters covering totality of values taken by frequencies upon a Doppler offset, and adders summing up corresponding outputs of the banks. A position detecting/validating system (300) detects positions of two large maxima among the sums and validates the position of the largest maximum. A recorder (400) records the positions and weight of the maxima. A validating/replacing system (500) validates/replaces the found position. A converter (600) converts the positions into evaluated Doppler and filters the Doppler by a low-pass filter. An independent claim is also included for a method permitting to track and evaluate Doppler Effect for a signal. |
