PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load container tilting mechanism for a carrying vehicle capable of reducing the number of components mounted on a chassis as much as possible and reducing the size of a hydraulic pump. SOLUTION: The carrying vehicle 1 is mounted with a load container 3 provided so as to be tiltable on the chassis and a compressor 30 driven by a vehicle traveling engine. As the compressor 30, a screw compressor having a speed up gear mechanism 40 comprising a combination of drive gears 41, 43 and driven gears 42, 44 is used. The shaft end of a drive shaft 16 of the hydraulic pump 15 is connected to the shaft end of an intermediate shaft 46 of the speed up gear mechanism 40. By working fluid discharged by the hydraulic pump 15, working fluid is supplied to a hydraulic cylinder 11 for tilting the load container 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
