PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preservation method that enables adjustment of a shipping time so as to distribute Crassostrea gigas in a period of an off-season of the Crassostrea gigas, in which it has been difficult to supply the Crassostrea gigas to a market before, by preserving a state of the Crassostrea gigas in season, and to provide the Crassostrea gigas high in safety, in which a risk of contamination such as a norovirus is reduced as much as possible.SOLUTION: The preservation method uses ocean deep water to long-term breed the Crassostrea gigas. In the preservation method, the ocean deep water of a temperature of 0 to 20°C is constantly flowed for the Crassostrea gigas in a water tank for at least 4 days and not longer than 6 months to preserve the Crassostrea gigas.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
