A power larger than the input is generated with a permanent magnet. A power generator (10) has a rotatable rotor (12), a plurality of permanent magnets (16) equipped with polarities in the same direction orthogonally to an annular strip face (14) set on the rotor (12) around a rotational center axis line (13) along this face and provided in an annular array at constant circumferential intervals, and a plurality of coreless coils supported by the fixed side member (11) in an annular array along the annular strip face (14) so that the coil center axis (19) crosses the annular strip face (14). When the rotor (12) is rotated by a rotational force inputted through a center axis (22) from a torque amplifier (20) disposed below this rotor (12), the permanent magnet (16) moves along the coreless coil (18) to produce an output from the coreless coil (18).
