<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide AC/DC power conversion equipment which charges a secondary battery from an AC power source and inverts the secondary battery into AC voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitor C is connected to the DC terminal of four reverse conduction type semiconductor switches of single phase bridge constitution, and the secondary battery is connected to it via a DC inductance, and it is coupled with the side of AC power source by an AC inductance L, and semiconductor switches paired crosswise are turned on or turned off synchronously with the phase of power voltage, and an AC power source of lower frequency than the resonance frequency of LC is connected to it. Thereby the switch is turned on or turned off with zero voltage and zero currents, and higher harmonics of AC currents lessen without performing conventional PWM control, and the reversible power conversion between AC and DC becomes possible with only the control of gate phase of the switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
