<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of suppressing the occurrence of bow in an electrostatic latent image of an object to be scanned. <P>SOLUTION: The side wall of the housing space 26 of the laser scanner unit U includes an incident light opening 25a through which light passes toward a polygon mirror 3, and an emitting light opening 25b through which the light deflected with the polygon mirror 3 passes, and the respective openings 25a and 25b have substantially transparent dust glasses 77 and 81, respectively. The dust glass 77 is tilted backward with respect to an incident optical path R11 to the dust glass 77, the dust glass 81 is tilted forward with respect to an incident optical path R21 to the dust glass 81, the tilt angle a°with respect to the incident optical path R11 of the dust glass 77 and the tilt angle b°with respect to the incident optical path R21 of the dust glass 81 satisfy the relation a°>b°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
