PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous molded resin wherein open cells are formed throughout without the use of any organic foaming agent using a millable silicone rubber. SOLUTION: The porous molded resin 1 is a millable silicone rubber expanded molded article (so-called silicone rubber sponge) using a platinum catalyst. In this molded article, open cells 2 are formed throughout as the result of combining an active zinc oxide and basic magnesium carbonate with a millable silicone rubber as the main material, followed by expanding and curing.
