PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bactericidal agent, an antimicrobial agent and a soil conditioner by impregnating a wood vinegar and/or unhulled rice vinegar into a pulverized chaff. SOLUTION: The bactericidal agent, the antimicrobial agent and the soil conditioner are each produced by impregnating a wood vinegar alone or an unhulled rice alone or a mixture thereof in an amount of 0.1-100 wt.% based on 100 wt.% chaff into chaff pulverized into 50-200 mesh. The such production methods spread demand of chaff, in which the utilization is slight hitherto, worried about the treatment, because the methods jointly use unhulled rice vinegar and chaff, and make it possible to utilize the chaff for environment improvement of cattle sheds and houses and soil improvement, etc., in wide range.
