<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment where power is prevented from being supplied from a commercial power supply to a sub-power supply when an option unit is not connected to a main body unit and wasteful power consumption is reduced compared to a conventional case. <P>SOLUTION: The option unit 2 is installed so that it can be attached to / detached from the main body unit 1. Equipment has a power supply part 4 where the main power supply 5 supplying power to the main body unit 1 and the sub-power supply 6 supplying power to the option unit 2 are integrally arranged. A relay circuit 11 is installed in the middle of a power wire 7 receiving power from the commercial power supply 3 in the power supply part 4 and supplying it to the sub-power supply 6.
