<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network quality monitoring device and network quality monitoring method, suitable to a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) network. <P>SOLUTION: The network quality monitoring device (analysis server) 60 collects from a capture device 80 a SIP message flowing in a plurality of monitoring target sections set on a network, obtains a response time or the number of request retransmissions from request transmission till response reception in each of the monitoring target sections, and accumulates them in each of the monitoring target sections. Then, an upper limit value for warning an abnormal state of each of the monitoring target sections from the response time or the number of request retransmissions from the request transmission till the response reception accumulated in each of the monitoring target sections at prescribed time intervals, and when the response time or the number of request retransmissions from the request transmission till the response reception in each of the monitoring target sections exceed the upper limit value, the occurrence of an abnormal state is warned to a fault management server 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
