<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit capable of precisely determining pre-charge completion without an increase in a manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply unit includes a battery pack 10 feeding DC power to the inverter 13 provided with a smoothing capacitor 15 between input terminals, a positive side main contactor 11 to connect/disconnect the positive pole of the battery pack 10 from the inverter 13, and a pre-charge contactor 16 and a pre-charge resistor 17 connected in parallel with the positive side main contactor 11. A voltmeter 19, which detects the voltage between the connection part of the pre-charge contactor 16 and the pre-charge resistor 17 of the power supply unit and the negative pole of the battery pack 10, is provided to determine pre-charge completion based on the voltage detected value immediate before the pre-charge of the voltmeter 19 and the voltage detected value during pre-charge of the voltmeter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
