PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin slide cover and smooth the sliding movement of the slide cover. SOLUTION: The slide mechanism includes: a slider 14 attached to the rear face of the slide cover 8 for uncovering or covering a photographic lens disposed in the outer housing of an apparatus main body 3, and slidable to the outer housing; and at least one supported roller 21 supported by the slider so as to be freely rotated. The outer housing has a support hole 10 that supports the supported roller on the outer housing rotatably and freely movably and extends in the direction in which the slider slides.
