<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical preventive compound, and a method of manufacturing an extract enriched in a chemical preventive agent precursor from a crucifer seed, in more detail, a method of manufacturing an extract enriched in chemical preventive agent precursor, that is, increased in the ratio of glucoraphanin to glucoraphenin. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises: a process in which an aqueous extract is prepared, a process in which the aqueous extract is contacted with an adsorbent; a process in which a glucosinolate-containing extract is obtained by removing the adsorbent; a process in which a dried glucosinolate-containing extract is obtained by drying the glucosinolate-containing extract; a process in which a glucosinolate-containing suspension is formed by mixing at least a part of the dried glucosinolate-containing extract with a solvent; a process in which the glucosinolate-containing suspension is clarified; a process in which the glucosinolate-containing suspension is contacted with a catalyst; and a process in which hydrogen is introduced for a time enough to obtain an extract enriched with the chemical preventing agent precursor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
