The present invention relates to a vehicle crash simulation testing method is to judge an accident situation through a vehicle crash simulation test without damage to a real vehicle by whether or not an airbag is inflated or an airbag warning light is on, thereby reducing time and costs largely and realizing the various accident situations while a driver gets in a test vehicle. The vehicle crash simulation testing method according to the present invention comprises as follow: the test vehicle having a testing equipment for measurement is fixed to a chassis dynamometer, a resistance is connected to the test vehicle after the connector of a crash safety device installed in the test vehicle is separated, an airbag for a driver seat is separated to be separately installed at the outside of the test vehicle, and then the separated airbag for a driver seat is operated by being connected to the test vehicle; the test vehicle is driven at an accident speed (about 80 km/h) from a regular position by operating the chassis dynamometer having the test vehicle installed thereat, and then an airbag control device is struck with at least a certain level of crash after the brake of the test vehicle is pushed for a few seconds (about two to three seconds) so that a sudden acceleration variation signal for operating the airbag can be applied to the airbag control device; and the airbag for a driver seat installed outside the test vehicle is identified whether to be inflated or not, and crash test data obtained by repetitively performing the test until the inflation of the airbag is recorded in an accident recording device is analyzed. |
