The present invention relates to a display device capable of improving convenience of a user and a manufacturing method thereof. The display device comprises: a substrate; a plurality of pixel portions arranged on the substrate; a spacing region defined on the substrate and arranged between two adjacent pixel portions among the plurality of pixel portions; a penetration portion arranged in the spacing region and having an inner side surface, which penetrates the substrate; and an encapsulation layer arranged on the substrate and configured to cover the inner side surface of the penetration portion wherein an organic film and an inorganic film are alternately arranged to encapsulate the pixel portions in the encapsulation layer.
