PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element, or the like, for improving the reproducibility of a refractive-index distribution on a pixel boundary and having a light-condensing element, capable of condensing incident light at a high efficiency. SOLUTION: Each pixel (SQUARE size=5.6 mm) is composed of the light-condensing elements (distribution index lenses) 1, color filters 2, a light-shielding layer (an Al wiring) 3, photodetectors (Si photodiodes) 4, an Si board 5 and planarized films 6. The concentric circular structure of the condensing element 1 is constituted by SiO<SB>2</SB>(n=1.43) and formed in a two-stage structure of film thicknesses 1.2μm, 0.8μm and 0μm. The light-condensing element 1 has a structure that digs in SiO<SB>2</SB>, in a concentric circular shape, and a peripheral medium consists of air (n=1). An air region 12 (width: a) is formed between the two adjacent light-condensing elements. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
