PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding method capable of feeding stacked sheets stacked in multiple stages with the top surface of the stacked sheets as it is, or capable of feeding the stacked sheets by inverting the stacked sheets. SOLUTION: This sheet feeding method repeats following operations in order; an operation for delivering the stacked sheets upward along inclination of the upgrade; an operation for raising several sheets s from the head sheet s onto a sheet conveying surface and dividing them into sheet blocks of bundles of sheets with a separator device 30; an operation for delivering the sheet blocks B divided into blocks to a following process with a sheet block feeding device 40 in the state of falling them nearly horizontally so that an end positioned lower is arranged on a downstream side or delivering them to a following process in the state of reversing them so that the ends are arranged on an upstream side.
