PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label which is easy to restore itself even when folded during storage, distribution, etc., irrelevantly to the shape of an article to be stuck with the label. SOLUTION: The label 3 has a stuck portion 31 which can be stuck on the article and a projection portion 32 which can not be stuck on the article 2, and is used while the stuck portion 31 is stuck to a portion of the article so that the projection portion 32 projects outward from one edge of the article. A label base material 5 is made of a layered body formed by stacking and bonding an upper-layer sheet 51 and a lower-layer sheet 52 together, and the upper-layer sheet 51 and lower-layer sheet 52 of the label base material 5 are not bonded at portions corresponding to the one edge of the article.
