[PROBLEMS] A floating-type water-quality improvement device in which flowing water produced using a vertical water flow passage formed between a trumpet-shaped duct and a funnel-shaped floating body is guided to enhance circulation efficiency of a water flow in the up-down direction. As a result, surface water containing oxygen by being in contact with air is circulated in the water to efficiently clean it. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The floating-type water-quality improvement device has the floating body (2) floating on a water surface and formed into a funnel-like shape expanded on the upper side. The floating body (2) is provided with a downwardly extending shaft (6) penetrating the water surface. A propeller (7) rotating about its axis is provided at the lower end of the shaft (6) connected to a drive device. The duct (3) whose upper portion is expanded in a trumpet-shape is provided around the floating body (2). The lower end side of the duct (3) is extended to below the propeller (7). The vertical water flow passage (9) is formed between the outer circumferential surface of the floating body (2) and the inner circumferential surface of the duct (3). Flow straightening plates (5) are arranged at the duct (3) in the radial direction of the duct. |
