BRIDGE FOR MEMORY CARD AND COMBO CARD USING THE SAME

A bridge for a memory card and a combo card using the bridge are provided to connect a non-memory unit which does not support a memory card interface as well as a memory card which supports the memory card interface, thereby supporting various functions of a memory card. A bridge(100) for a memory card includes a bridge internal processor(106), a clock generator(102) and a register(104). The bridge internal processor analyzes a control signal received from a host processor(18) and controls an external input/output device(200). The clock generator is connected to the bridge internal processor and generates a clock signal for an internal operation and a clock signal required to communicate with the external input/output device. The register is connected to the bridge internal processor and stores the status and information of the external input/output device.
