A camera system having a lens shading correction function using color temperature is provided to obtain an image of high quality by precisely performing automatic white color correction. A camera module(210) outputs an image detect signal obtained by capturing an image of a subject. An image signal processing unit(260) outputs an image signal obtained by performing a lens shading correction on the image detect signal inputted from the camera module according to a lens shading correction value inputted from a controller(270). The controller calculates the lens shading correction value corresponding to a color temperature of the subject, and outputs the calculated lens shading correction value to the image signal processing unit. A lens system(220) generates the image of the subject. An image sensor(240) detects and outputs the image as an electrical signal. A color temperature detector(250) outputs a color temperature detect signal obtained by measuring the color temperature of the subject, to the controller.
