BRANCH MEMBER, AND CONNECTION METHOD OF BRANCH CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform rewiring and reconnection of a lead-in cable easily without caring about the number of times, and to increase the number of branches even in a limited place such as a handhole.

SOLUTION: The branch member 100A has a joint 111 and planar terminals 112a and 112b constituting a terminal portion. The joint 111 is a portion being connected electrically with a trunk cable 201. The planar terminals 112a and 112b are portions being connected electrically with the joint 111 and capable of connecting a lead-in cable 202 removably. A lead wire 113 is interposed between the joint 111 and the planar terminals 112a and 112b. A conductor 201a at a branch of the trunk cable 201 and the joint 111 of the branch member 100A are compression connected collectively by a C-shaped sleeve 203, and the branch member 100A is connected with the trunk cable 201. Branching is performed by connecting the end of the lead-in cable 202 with the planar terminals 112a and 112b of the branch member 100A.
