<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device of long life, compact, stably emitting light for a long period of time without getting oversized, and easy to be electrically connected. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a first substrate with translucency, a first electrode formed on a surface of the first substrate, an element part intercalated between the first electrode and a second electrode opposed to the former and equipped with an emitting function layer including an organic layer, a second substrate arranged in opposition to the first substrate so as to pinch the element part and equipped with a first and a second electrode terminals for external connection, a sealing part formed between the first and the second substrates so as to surround the element part, a first connecting part connecting the first electrode to the first electrode terminal, and a second connecting part connecting the second electrode to the second electrode terminal, the first connecting part arranged further outside than the sealing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
