PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component having a good superposition property at large currents. SOLUTION: In a coil component, an insulator in which a coil is incorporated is varied in a magnetic core. The magnetic core has a micro-gap obtained by casting and hardening a mixture of a first magnetic material powder, a second magnetic material powder or a non-magnetic material powder having a smaller diameter, and a resin.
