PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly move an optical pickup to a target track in a disk device. SOLUTION: A disk device 1 is provided with: an optical pickup 4 for irradiating an optical disk 2 with a laser beam; a motor 6 for moving the optical pickup 4 in a radial direction to the target track; and a control part 7 for controlling the motor 6. The control part 7 is provided with: a calculating means 7a for calculating a voltage value to be applied to the motor 6; and a storage part 7b for storing a basic voltage value, the number of correction tracks, and coefficients. The calculating means 7a calculates the voltage value on the basis of the number of tracks from the position of the optical pickup to the target track, the basic voltage value, the number of correction tracks, and coefficients. The control part 7 greatly moves the optical pickup 4 to the vicinity of the target track by driving the motor 6 with the calculated voltage value.
