PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flushing unit or the like in which an absorbent is safely and simply replaced without being touched by hands. SOLUTION: The flushing unit 74 receiving dummy ejection from all ejection nozzles of a plurality of functional droplet ejection units is provided with an absorbent tray 264 which receives the dummy ejection and on which the absorbent 265 is laid, a supporting frame 244 for supporting the absorbent tray 264.
