PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily convert chamfering based on first data containing no geometric information to chamfering based on convenient second data including geometric information. SOLUTION: A chamfering position is calculated from bit map data D1, point group data D2, polygon data D3 or the like which describes a surface shape of an object but contains no geometric information, and chamfering information in data D4 and D5 with the chamfering position as geometric information is generated.
